As the Charlotte Observer reports, NASCAR driver Kurt Busch has made the decision to sell his mansion on Lake Norman. Here’s was $3.95 Million will fetch you:
9,500 square feet on Lake Norman. The home, built in 2007, boasts 5 bedrooms and four baths.
A stunning Master Suite with its own fireplace.
An outdoor entertainer’s backyard with fountains, multi-tiered decks, and a pool.
Stunning lake views from EVERY room.
A European design style with the exterior clad in all stone.
The mansion is located on a privately owned road and is not the only mansion on Lake Norman famously linked to NASCAR. Recently, the house that hosted a scene from the 2006 Will Ferrell NASCAR film ‘Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby’ sold and claimed the highest closing price of the year for Cornelius. The oft quoted dinner scene where every family member offers a different prayer was filmed in the dining room.
Kurt Busch won the 2017 Daytona 500 and has been quoted saying that his house “is tranquil living.” He refers to the estate as Chateau de Busch and maintains that it is peaceful and beautiful with “long, open views of the lake.”
In 2015 Monster energy drinks featured the mansion in a Youtube video. Clocking in at almost 10 minutes, Busch shows viewers around the estate. Drone footage shows the expansive yard and lake setting and features the exquisite design details throughout the home. With over 400,000 views, you can see the video for yourself at Kurt Busch Lake Life. What do you think? Sound off in the comments: dream home, or too much work?
