Tega Cay Ranked Best of South Carolina

Sunset over Lake Wylie, SC

Recently, ranking firm Niche listed Tega Cay, a state line suburb approximately 20 minutes south of Charlotte, as the best place to live in South Carolina. Niche takes a lot of factors into consideration when determining rankings. Things like quality of public schools, commute times, and average cost of living are all looked at and play a role in which towns get top spots.

With a population of less than 10,000, Tega Cay lands at the top of the 2018 rankings because of their A+ school rankings, commute times which routinely land under half an hour, and amenities that appeal to families. Located on Lake Wylie, Tega Cay has ample opportunity for water sports and outdoor activities, as well as being able to offer desirable lakefront properties.

Niche is a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania based research company whose sole purpose is to rank cities, suburbs, primary schools, and colleges with the intent to provide families with as much information as possible when they are looking for a suitable place to live. A unique feature of their website is allowing for personal testimonials-- testimonials they also take into account when determining their rankings.

That Tega Cay received designation as the top place to live in all of the Palmetto State is a huge coup for the Charlotte metro region and we are excited to be a part of finding you that dream home, wherever that may be.
