Skyecroft in Waxhaw is a luxury gated community in beautiful Union County that offers Weddington schools, major roadways and lower Union County taxes.

The neighborhood is located of 12 Mile Creek Road between Monroe-Weddington and New Town roads. Skyecroft is convenient to Weddington Middle School as well as Weddington Optimist Park.

Providence Road and I-485 are just a few minutes away with a convenient commute time into Charlotte's Uptown area or Ballantyne.

The rural neighborhood offers larger custom stone and brick homes in a gated environment that is close to Weddington as well as South Charlotte's best shopping, dining and entertainment.

In the last year, a total of 7 homes have sold in Skyecroft for an average of $1,123,929 and $181 per square foot.

Many of the homes in Skyecroft include larger lots, extensive custom woodwork and moulding, expansive high end kitchens and personalized touches such as wine cellars and home theaters.

Currently, there are 10 homes on the market in Skyecroft, which equates to approximately 17 months of inventory for the neighborhood as of Oct. 23. Waxhaw's inventory is about 6 months, and Union County averages nearly 5 months of inventory.

List prices for homes on the market range from $969,900 to nearly $1.7 million. Last year's sold prices ranged from $845,000 to $1.5 million.

Skyecroft currently is zoned for Weddington Elementary, Middle and High schools.
