Hollister offers its residents many amenities, such as a Junior Olympic pool, tennis court, basketball court, playground, clubhouse and walking trails.

Hollister was established in 2007 and building slowed due to the market recession. Since the market has recovered, Shea Homes has continued building out the neighborhood.
