Neighborhood spotlight: Providence Country Club


South Charlotte's Providence Country Club offers its residents fine country club living in proximity to the best area shopping, dining, entertainment and parks.

Begun in 1989, Providence Country Club is located just south of I-485 at Ballantyne Commons Parkway. The neighborhood is accessible from Providence and Tom Short roads.

Blakeney, Stonecrest and Ballantyne Village are all less than 10 minutes from Providence Country Club. A trip to SouthPark is only 11 miles, while Uptown is just 15 miles via Providence Road.

The neighborhood is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of city life and yet close enough to commute into the city for work or play.

Closer to home, country club members get to enjoy a pool, clubhouse, fitness center, tennis courts, and of course, the 18-hole Dan Maples-designed golf course.

Homes are on lots of at least a half acre up to more than 1 acre. The homes are situated around the golf course, some with spectacular views of fairways and water features on the course.

List prices range from $485,000 to $1.12 million.

Providence Country Club children attend CMS's Polo Ridge Elementary School, J.M. Robinson Middle School and Ardrey Kell High School.
