Embrace nature in Waxhaw's Walden Pond

Waxhaw's Walden Pond takes its name from the Massachusetts pond made famous by Henry David Thoreau, whose time in a cabin by the pond was a reflection upon simple living among natural surroundings.

Union County's Walden Pond neighborhood is that perfect bucolic setting for a relaxed, rural lifestyle without giving up the conveniences of South Charlotte and nearby Weddington.

The neighborhood is located near the intersection of Providence and New Town roads and is accessible from both roadways.

From Walden Pond, it is only 3 miles to Rea Road, which can bring you to Stonecrest, Blakeney and Ballantyne Commons Parkway. Interstate access is only 6 miles north near Ballantyne Commons Parkway.

Everyday shopping is close by at the corner of Providence Road and a few minutes away in Weddington.
