The Waxhaw neighborhood of Marvin Creek is a great neighborhood of luxury homes in an ideal location close to all of South Charlotte's amenities while taking advantage of Union County's lower taxes and great schools.

The early 2000s neighborhood was built by Toll Brothers, one of the area's most prominent builders. It is located near the intersection of Tom Short and Rea roads down the road from The Club at Longview.

Shopping and dining is minutes away at Blakeney, Stonecrest and Ballantyne Village.

Rea and Providence roads are nearby for access to I-485 or traveling toward Uptown (21 miles) or SouthPark (13 miles).

Though Marvin Creek has some great amenities, the neighborhood is surrounded by some of the area's best golf courses, including Longview, TPC Piper Glen, Providence Country Club, Raintree and Ballantyne Country Club.

The fantastic neighborhood amenities include a pool, lazy river, geyser park, clubhouse, sports courts and tennis courts.

Homes in Marvin Creek are on the larger side - starting in the 3,000-square-foot range. Lots are larger than average suburban house lots with many approaching three-quarters to 1 acre in size.

Home prices in Marvin Creek are typically between $500,000 and $1 million.
